Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to cleaning and related services provided by Euro Janitorial LLC (“Euro Janitorial,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By requesting, scheduling, confirming, or receiving services from Euro Janitorial, the person or organization booking the service (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledges and agrees to these Terms.

Please review these Terms before scheduling service. If a written estimate, service agreement, recurring-service plan, or commercial proposal contains terms that differ from these Terms, the terms of that written document will control for that specific service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

You accept these Terms when you schedule or confirm an appointment through our website, by telephone, email, text message, invoice, or another approved booking method.

The person booking the service represents that they are at least 18 years old and are authorized to approve the service and provide access to the property.

2. Estimates and Booking Confirmation

All estimates are based on the information, descriptions, photographs, property details, and requested scope provided by the Client.

An appointment is not confirmed until Euro Janitorial has accepted the booking and any required booking deposit has been received. Availability shown or discussed before confirmation is not guaranteed.

3. Booking Deposits

A booking deposit may be required to reserve an appointment. Any required deposit will be disclosed before the appointment is confirmed and will be applied toward the total price of the service.

Deposits may become non-refundable when a cancellation, rescheduling request, or lockout occurs outside the applicable notice period described below, except where otherwise required by law or agreed to by Euro Janitorial in writing.

If Euro Janitorial cancels an appointment and the parties cannot agree on a suitable replacement date, any deposit paid for that appointment will be refunded.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

For Standard Cleaning and Regular or Recurring Cleaning Services, cancellation or rescheduling requests received at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be made without a cancellation charge. If the request is received less than 24 hours before the appointment, the booking deposit is non-refundable.

For Deep Cleaning, Move-In or Move-Out Cleaning, and Post-Construction Cleaning Services, cancellation or rescheduling requests received at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment may be made without a cancellation charge. If the request is received less than 48 hours before the appointment, the booking deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellation terms for commercial cleaning, Airbnb cleaning, home organization, or other custom services may be stated in the applicable quote or service agreement.

A cancellation or rescheduling request is effective when it is received by Euro Janitorial through an approved contact method. We may make reasonable exceptions for emergencies or unforeseen circumstances at our discretion.

5. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the service. The Client is responsible for the confirmed service price, approved add-on services, and any applicable taxes or disclosed fees.

Accepted payment methods may include Zelle, Venmo, credit card, or another payment method approved by Euro Janitorial.

Late or unpaid balances may be subject to reasonable collection efforts and recovery of costs permitted by law.

6. Recurring Services and Automatic Payments

Recurring-service pricing is based on the property being cleaned at the agreed frequency and maintained in a reasonably consistent condition. If the condition, occupancy, use, size, or requested scope changes materially between appointments, additional charges or a revised service plan may apply.

Recurring appointments do not guarantee assignment of the same cleaner or team member for every visit.

If a recurring plan includes automatic renewal or automatic payment, the applicable price, billing frequency, cancellation method, and other material terms will be disclosed separately before enrollment. Euro Janitorial will obtain the Client’s affirmative consent before initiating automatic recurring charges and will provide a confirmation that the Client can retain.

7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you have a billing or service concern, please contact Euro Janitorial promptly so that we have an opportunity to review and address it.

Nothing in these Terms waives or limits any right to dispute a charge that cannot legally be waived. Chargebacks or payment disputes submitted fraudulently or for services properly performed and accepted may be contested, and Euro Janitorial may pursue lawful collection remedies and recovery of associated costs to the extent permitted by law.

8. Property Access

The Client is responsible for providing safe and timely access to the property at the scheduled appointment time, including accurate entry instructions, functioning access codes, available keys, building authorization, parking or loading instructions, and any required communication with a doorman, property manager, tenant, or other authorized person.

If access is delayed or unavailable, Euro Janitorial is not responsible for reduced cleaning time, incomplete areas, delays, or the need to reschedule.

9. Lockout Fee

If our team arrives for a confirmed appointment and cannot access the property because of missing or inaccurate entry instructions, unavailable keys, non-functioning codes, or the absence of a person required to provide access, the booking deposit will be non-refundable and a lockout charge up to the amount of the booking deposit may apply.

10. Arrival Window

We make reasonable efforts to arrive at the scheduled time. However, New York traffic, weather, parking limitations, building access requirements, earlier appointments, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may cause delays.

A reasonable arrival window may apply. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays using the contact information provided by the Client.

11. Utilities and Working Conditions

The property must have functioning electricity, running hot and cold water, adequate lighting, and safe access to the areas included in the service.

If required utilities are unavailable or working conditions prevent the service from being performed safely, Euro Janitorial may delay, reschedule, suspend, or discontinue the appointment. A cancellation or lockout charge may apply when the issue was within the Client’s control and was not disclosed before arrival.

12. Scope of Work and Pricing Adjustments

Only the tasks and areas included in the confirmed quote or service description are included in the service. Add-ons, specialty tasks, or requests made during the appointment may require additional time and will be charged separately if accepted by Euro Janitorial.

If the actual condition of the property differs materially from the information provided by the Client—including heavy buildup, excessive grease, construction dust, clutter, mold, pest activity, bodily waste, hazardous materials, or other conditions requiring additional labor, equipment, or time—Euro Janitorial may revise the price, adjust the scope, or decline to continue the service.

When reasonably possible, material price or scope adjustments will be discussed with the Client before additional work proceeds. If the Client does not approve the adjustment, Euro Janitorial may complete only the originally agreed work that can be performed safely and reasonably, or discontinue the service.

13. Rate Adjustments

Euro Janitorial may update its general prices, service rates, and policies. Existing recurring clients will receive advance notice of material pricing changes before the new rate applies to a future appointment.

Changes will not retroactively alter the price of a previously confirmed appointment unless the Client approves additional work or the property condition or scope was materially different from the information used to prepare the quote.

14. Service Limitations

For safety, insurance, and service-quality reasons, our team does not:

  • climb ladders;

  • clean exterior windows;

  • move heavy furniture, large appliances, or other items that may create a risk of injury or property damage;

  • remove or remediate mold;

  • handle biohazardous materials;

  • clean areas affected by active pest infestations;

  • handle human or animal waste; or

  • perform work that requires a license, specialized remediation, or equipment outside the confirmed cleaning scope.

Areas that cannot be safely reached or accessed will be cleaned around whenever reasonably possible.

15. Cleaning Results

Euro Janitorial will use reasonable care and professional cleaning methods, but we cannot guarantee complete removal of every stain, discoloration, hard-water deposit, rust mark, grout discoloration, paint or construction residue, permanent odor, scratch, etching, or condition caused by age, wear, neglect, improper installation, prior damage, or material defects.

Some surfaces or materials may not safely tolerate aggressive cleaning. Our team may limit or discontinue treatment when further cleaning could reasonably cause damage.

16. Health and Safety

Euro Janitorial may refuse, suspend, or discontinue service when conditions are unsafe, hazardous, illegal, abusive, discriminatory, excessively unsanitary, or present a risk to health, safety, or property.

This may include, without limitation, biohazards, excessive mold, active pest infestations, dangerous chemicals, unsecured weapons, aggressive animals, harassment, threats, illegal activity, unsafe structures, or any condition that prevents our team from working safely.

If service is stopped because of a condition that was not disclosed before the appointment, the Client remains responsible for work already performed and any applicable deposit, cancellation, or lockout charge.

17. Pets

The Client must secure any aggressive, anxious, territorial, or potentially unsafe pet before and during the appointment. The Client is also responsible for communicating any pet-related access or safety instructions in advance.

Euro Janitorial is not responsible for a pet escaping, becoming injured, or causing injury or damage when the pet was not properly secured or when relevant instructions were not disclosed, except to the extent responsibility cannot be excluded by law.

18. Smoking and Substance Use

Smoking, vaping, or use of recreational substances is not permitted inside the property while our cleaning professionals are present. Euro Janitorial may suspend or discontinue service if this policy is not followed.

19. Valuables, Fragile Items, and Electronics

Before service, the Client must secure cash, jewelry, collectibles, important documents, medications, firearms, and other valuable or sensitive items.

The Client must identify fragile, antique, sentimental, high-value, specialty, improperly installed, loose, unstable, or damaged items before cleaning begins. Specific handling instructions for delicate electronics, audio equipment, turntables, computers, televisions, artwork, specialty surfaces, or other sensitive property must be provided in advance.

Euro Janitorial is not responsible for loss of unsecured valuables or damage arising from undisclosed defects, instability, fragility, or pre-existing conditions, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

20. Photo Documentation and Privacy

Euro Janitorial may take photographs before, during, or after service for internal quality control, employee training, documentation of property condition, scope confirmation, and dispute resolution.

We will make reasonable efforts not to photograph clients, minors, personal identification documents, financial information, access codes, family photographs, or other sensitive personal information. Internal documentation will not be intentionally published for advertising or promotional use.

Any use of photographs, video, a person’s name, voice, portrait, image, or likeness for advertising, social media, website galleries, or other promotional purposes requires separate written permission from the person whose consent is legally required. The Client may also notify Euro Janitorial before service that interior photographs are not permitted, except where documentation is reasonably necessary to record an existing condition or safety concern.

21. Service Concerns and Recleaning Requests

Your satisfaction is important to us. If an area included in the agreed scope was missed or not cleaned to a reasonable service standard, please notify Euro Janitorial within 24 hours after completion and provide photographs or other relevant details when reasonably available.

Euro Janitorial will review the concern and make reasonable efforts to address verified service-related issues. Depending on the circumstances, a remedy may include clarification of the agreed scope, corrective work, or a return visit at a mutually reasonable time.

This policy does not guarantee removal of permanent conditions described in Section 15 and does not automatically entitle the Client to a refund. Any refund or credit will be determined based on the circumstances and applicable law.

22. Damage Claims

Our team takes reasonable precautions when working in a Client’s home or business. Any claim that property was damaged during service should be reported within 24 hours after service completion, or as soon as reasonably possible after the damage is discovered. The Client may be asked to provide photographs, proof of ownership or value, repair estimates, and other information reasonably necessary to investigate the claim.

Euro Janitorial is not responsible for:

  • pre-existing damage, ordinary wear and tear, deterioration, discoloration, or defects;

  • damage to items or surfaces that were improperly installed, loose, unstable, defective, worn, or poorly maintained before service;

  • fragile, antique, high-value, sentimental, or specialty items that were not disclosed before service;

  • damage resulting from ordinary cleaning methods applied to surfaces already worn, damaged, improperly maintained, or beyond their expected useful life;

  • loss of unsecured cash, jewelry, collectibles, documents, or other valuables; or

  • damage to delicate electronics or specialty devices when required handling instructions were not provided in advance.

All claims will be investigated and resolved based on the available facts, these Terms, any applicable insurance coverage, and governing law.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Euro Janitorial’s total liability for a verified claim arising from a specific service appointment will not exceed the amount paid for the appointment giving rise to the claim.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability resulting from gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or other conduct for which limitation would violate applicable law or public policy.

24. Insurance

Euro Janitorial LLC is insured. Proof of insurance may be provided upon reasonable request, subject to any applicable limitations or privacy requirements.

25. Quality-Control Reviews

To maintain service standards, Euro Janitorial may conduct quality-control reviews, including communication with the Client, review of service notes, and review of before-and-after photographs when available and permitted under these Terms.

26. Assignment of Cleaning Professionals

Euro Janitorial determines which qualified and authorized cleaning professional or team will perform a service. The Client may not require a particular worker unless Euro Janitorial agrees in writing. A requested cleaner’s availability is not guaranteed.

27. Employee and Contractor Non-Solicitation

Euro Janitorial invests resources in recruiting, training, scheduling, and supporting its cleaning professionals. To the extent permitted by law, the Client agrees not to knowingly solicit, directly hire, employ, or contract outside Euro Janitorial with a cleaning professional introduced through Euro Janitorial during the service relationship and for 12 months after the Client’s last appointment.

Questions or requests regarding employment or independent work arrangements with a team member must be directed to Euro Janitorial.

28. Tips and Gratuities

Gratuities are optional and are not included in the service price unless clearly stated. One hundred percent of any gratuity designated for the cleaning professional or team will be provided to the cleaning professional or team who performed the service.

29. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service

Euro Janitorial reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or discontinue service when reasonably necessary because of unsafe conditions, harassment, discrimination, threats, illegal activity, material misrepresentation of the property condition, nonpayment, repeated policy violations, or any situation that creates an unreasonable risk to our personnel, the Client, or the property.

This section does not permit refusal of service for a reason prohibited by applicable anti-discrimination or consumer-protection law.

30. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable right or remedy available under applicable consumer-protection law.

31. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

32. Changes to These Terms

Euro Janitorial may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date. Unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing, changes apply prospectively to appointments scheduled or confirmed after the updated Terms are posted.
